We needed a new patio area to be built, which comprised significant sandstone removal, building a new retaining wall with rock cladding, laying paving stones, installing drainage, and relaying a lawn. Lloyd and his team did the work quickly and efficiently, and to a very high standard. Lloyd made good suggestions as the work proceeded, which we invariably accepted as an improved design.
What was particularly pleasing was when we had a small issue that didn’t appear until a month after the work finished. Lloyd did not hesitate to return and remediate the issue at no extra cost. It is things like that which engender particular confidence in a tradesperson.
We are exceptionally pleased with the finished patio area, and would highly recommend Lloyd to anyone.

As an architect and project manager myself, I was immediately placed at ease by Lloyd’s detail in understanding construction methods- best practice , time frame, costs and but most importantly the impact on our little family through the building process. Lloyd and his team were brilliant in every regard. From turning up punctually to tidying up at the end of each day and working tirelessly in the heat with great attitudes, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The team under Lloyd’s guidance were brilliant and we are thrilled with our gorgeous new backyard and the design input from Lloyd has made it much more special than i had imagined.

Thank you my team of ‘yes men’. The garden looks great. It is growing well compared to the work of the previous contractor we used for the front yard. All your additional trade work was appreciated, the deck, the concrete pads, the fence, the clothesline, the retaining wall… and of course the planting. We appreciated your promptness, cleaning up after yourselves, and your general keenness to help. With this attitude and professionalism, I am very happy to recommend the team of yes men at “The Great Outdoors Landscape Design and Construction.
